Staff Requirements to Work in Child Care
Apply for your DCYF Stars # and Submit MERIT Background and Fingerprints
Blood Borne Pathogens and HIV Training $15 **Must be Renewed every 12 Months
Safe Sleep DCYF Training (Free) **Must be Renewed every 12 Months
CPR, First Aid and BBP Training can be done IN-PERSON in house with Treetop Village. **Must be Renewed ever 24 Months
Vaccines or Shots Required
Negative TB Test in last 12 mths
MMR Shot Documentation or Recent Vaccination Record
Vaccines and Tests can be done at your doctors.
Teacher Certifications
30 Hours Basic Training Due in First 30 Days of Working
10 Hours Basic Training Due Every Year with Employment
